The Mini-Glossary: Tucumã do Pará presents socio-terminologies related to the craft of Tucumã in the municipality of Acará/PA, demonstrating the socio-professional reality of this activity carried out in the Amazon region of Pará, in the Lower Tocantins region. For organizational purposes, the mini-glossary is divided into three semantic fields, organized alphabetically, which express the parts of the tucumã, the products made from tucumã and the products made from the tucumã seed. The work was carried out through the voices of the subjects who make a living from this craft, who, through the performance of their work, express their experiences with the tucumã of Pará, their stories, memories and multiple identities that constitute the Amazonian subject and their strong connection with the forest. The book is a manifestation of appreciation for this craft, the care and maintenance of the palm tree, which allows for various uses of the tucumã from Pará, as well as fostering the bioeconomy and affirmative actions, as an instrument for mediating active learning, with regard to the socio-educational process in various environments, whether school or not. At this launch, we would like to thank all the researchers who signed this work. And, in particular, the people of Acara, who honored us with their voices and shared their craft with the tucumã from Pará, making this academic dream an instrument of social action and integration between university and civil society.
